
Why should Italian food cost so much more than local food?
That was the burning questions in our minds. We were tired
of paying at least $20 dollars per head for a pasta or
pizza meal. It's not every night that you want to eat
in a restaurant with slow service, gazing into each others'
eyes! We wanted pasta and pizza that was freshly cooked
to order, that tasted good and which we could easily take
away. We wanted friendly service, flexibility in ingredients
and enough variety to be able to eat a different dish
for a fortnight. We wanted vongole linguine with our favourite
white wine sauce;and tomato herb or cream sauce with chicken,
and fresh Mediterranean vegetables
added on.
We
wanted Bacon Aglio, or Spaghetti Carbonara with cream of
an uncompromising quality.
And we wanted all this at a price which meant we could
afford to satisfy our pasta and pizza cravings everyday
or any day of the week. And so PastaMania was birthed...it
proves that all this is possible and more...
